Light always fascinated me. In Guam and Hawaii the light was fantastic. In California those blinding metal flakes on the Pacific in the late afternoon.... Florida light is beautiful too. I'd jump out of bed in the morning to photograph the early light on the bedclothes, the flowers, the cat...

I got serious in 1990 and went to a school for photography. Black and white was the greatest. I became so involved developing my own film and printing...you will see some of my black and white work in the "personal gallery".

Around 2000, I began to concentrate on wedding photography. I love the flow of the day and that you must produce your best work in the middle of this big event. Recently I began using a lot less flash and much more of that subtle Florida light to give my work a fashion feel.

Decades from now people will look at my work and say "this is my parents on their wedding day" or "that was my grandparents on their wedding day." And that is REALLY satisfying.
